Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 6, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 6, 2026

MarineOps is a business management platform operated by Daily Defense Solutions LLC. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our software and services, including our bank reconciliation features powered by Plaid.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a MarineOps account, we collect your business name, email address, phone number, and password. If you add staff members, we collect their names, email addresses, and role information.

Business Data You Enter

As you use MarineOps, you enter data about your business including:

This data belongs to you. We store it on your behalf to provide the service.

Bank Account and Financial Data (Plaid)

If you connect a bank account using the MarineOps bank reconciliation feature, we use Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to access your financial institution on your behalf. Through this connection we receive and store:

Transaction descriptions (merchant names) are encrypted at rest in our database using AES-256-GCM encryption. Your bank credentials are never visible to MarineOps — Plaid handles authentication directly with your financial institution. By connecting a bank account, you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

Payment Information

MarineOps does not store credit card numbers. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe, and customer payment processing is handled by Square or Stripe depending on the payment method used. Both are PCI-compliant processors. We receive only transaction confirmations and limited metadata.

Usage Data

We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us maintain security and improve the platform.

Device and App Data

If you use the MarineOps mobile app, we may collect your device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens to send you alerts and messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to any third party. We do not use your business data or financial data for advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate MarineOps:

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We do not share your data with anyone else.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including:

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Support Access

Authorized MarineOps support staff may access your account for the purpose of diagnosing technical issues, resolving bugs, or providing direct assistance at your request. Every support session is logged with the staff member's reason for access, IP address, start time, and end time. Support access is limited to what is necessary to resolve the issue and is never used for any commercial purpose. A visible banner is displayed within your account during any active support session.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data — including any connected bank account information and transaction history — is retained for 90 days before deletion, giving you time to export anything you need. If you disconnect a bank account within the platform, the associated Plaid access token is revoked immediately. Photos uploaded to the platform follow the retention schedule of your subscription plan. For full details, see our Data Retention Policy.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Deleting your account or data

This applies to the MarineOps website and the MarineOps mobile app.

We confirm the request and complete it within 30 days. Records a shop must keep by law (for example invoices and tax records) may be kept for the required period, then deleted.

7. Cookies

The MarineOps web dashboard uses session cookies to keep you logged in and secure trusted-device tokens for multi-factor authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. The marketing website (getrvops.com) does not use analytics tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

MarineOps is a business platform intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of MarineOps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
